Enjoy Singing? Why not Join the Phil?

Leicester Philharmonic Choir (LPC or the Phil) has been keeping music live since 1886. We sing a wide variety of music with concerts featuring many highly experienced and noted conductors, soloists and orchestras. (See the home page for this year’s concert programme).

We are always happy to welcome new members across all sections of the choir. If you have some experience of singing and have reasonable sight-reading ability, why not come and join one of Leicestershire’s largest and oldest established and well respected choirs.

Sit in on up to four rehearsals and find out more about becoming a full member of LPC before making your decision. You are not expected to be an expert sight-reader; it is more important that you can hold pitch and have a voice quality which blends in a choir. After a short successful application process, you will then become a full LPC choir member and perform with us in forthcoming concerts.

Annual membership costs £130 for the 2016/17 season, payable at the start of the season in September. Other payment options available on request. Students pay a much reduced rate. Rehearsals are held weekly from 7pm to 9pm on Mondays at Wigston College, Station Road, Wigston LE18 2DS. To register your interest in attending a rehearsal or if you have a query, please contact the Membership Secretary, Shirley Godber at memsec@thephil.org.uk.

We look forwarding to seeing you.
